Setting Up Report Parameters, but using one parameter only to run the report

    Usually when you set-up multiple report parameters within a report, you need to make a selection in each paramter on the live report to ensure it runs...

    Can you in any way set-up multiple parameters within a report, but you only need to make a selection in one parameter to run a report?

    I want to set-up mutliple parameters for the user to choose from, but i want the user to be able to just select one parameter and still have the ability to run the report?

    I have solved my problem, but added in the defaults to make it work...thanks for the reply..

    Hi,

    You may use cascading parameters also, if your default values should change based on the main parameter values.
