I'm trying to configure Reporting Services everything is fine up to Database Server tab where i try to Change Database if I test connection or go next I've got the following error:Could not connect to server: A connection was successfully established with the server, but then an error occured during the login process. (provider:TCP Provider,error:0 - An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host.)
This error is when I go to the command prompt and type sqlcmd -E -SadminSqlcmd: Error: Microsoft SQL Server Native Client 10.0 : A network-related or instance-specific error has occurred while establishing a connection to SQL Server. I am running SQL Server 2008 R2 on XP Pro SP3.
I've done (almost) anything to make it work without any success from changing the tcp/ip port to 1433, making SQL Server accessible remotely, but it doesn't allow me to add (or create a ).
Please I really need your help.
