Why reorganize index maintainance plan is not executing?

    I have created a job in sql server 2005 i.e. for reorganize index maintainance plan on sunday. But it is not executing. Why?

    Did you verify that maintenance plan job still in place?

    Did your check this job history?

    Has this job ever started?

    Please make sure your job is not disabled.

    Please open Properties->Schedule of your job and also make sure the job Schedule is enabled.

    I assume it is about job and a shedule as well, right?

    The most possible reasons are already stated, May be the job itself or the schedule is disabled.

    Can you try pointing the job and schedule again from Maintenance plan?
