Friends,
We have 5 instances running on 2 node active-active cluster and frequently SQLServices are getting restarted on same node. The instances are running more than a year and issue is occurring only from past 2 weeks. Windows team suggested few hotfix and that haven't made any difference. Below is the error in event logs at the time of issue.
[sqsrvres] printODBCError: sqlstate = 08S01; native error = 0; message = [Microsoft][SQL Server Native Client 10.0]Communication link failure
[sqsrvres] CheckQueryProcessorAlive: sqlexecdirect failed
The SQL Server service terminated unexpectedly. It has done this 1 time(s).
Please suggest what needs to be checked as we find CPU and Memory normal on the server.
