Not sure if this is the right place
We have all incremental backups of all the files in the OLAP\data folder, and we had the cube become corrupt
we dont have a backup of the cube (yes i know) but we do have the latest version of the files in the data folder
I have tried restoring the data folder, and then attaching the cube but i get
The database cannot be attached because an error occurred while loading the detach log from the file '\\?\G:\Microsoft SQL Server\MSAS11.MSSQLSERVER\OLAP\Data\GMDD.0.db\ABC.detach_log'. One possible reason is that database is already attached in ReadWrite mode to another server instance.
The detach log '\\?\G:\Microsoft SQL Server\MSAS11.MSSQLSERVER\OLAP\Data\ABC.0.db\ABC.detach_log' could not be found in the specified database folder.

Is it possible to do this type of a restore. i.e. can it be rebuilt this way ?

No. I haven't yet seen anyone successfully do this.
