Dear All,
I am facing a tough time in upgrading from 2008 cluster to 2008r2.
Initially I have successfully upgraded the shared components on both the nodes, and in second step when I upgraded the passive node completely.
I am not able to shift the services to this upgraded node. The error I receive is
'The action 'move to node did not complete. An error occurred moving the clustered service or application 'SQL Server'. The operation failed because either the specified cluster node is not the owner of the group, or the node is not a possible owner of the group.'
The key points here are
1. I verified all the resources having proper possible owners set.
2. I am able to shift the DTC service to other node.

Happy news the issue is resolved.
The possible owner check box was missing though it was there for the resource types but
when we go to cluster properties and select the advance policies and make sure the nodes are selected
