Hello SQL world! An IT recruiter was interested to see my resume (in which I've sent already) with regards to an internship for those who wants to pursue a career on software development. They were asking for students but I've already graduated years ago and considered. For a guy with a BS Degree in Marketing, and have since only been immersed in the IT world (SQL Server 2008 and up, PowerShell, HTML, etc) the past two years or so...internship offers like this doesn't come often. So, I applied for it. In a nutshell, the mission of the internship would be getting involved in the design and development of data warehouse, cubes, dimensions, reports, for BI Solutions with SQL backend and SharePoint Services frontend. Since my main interest is with database admin, I'd like to ask developers or DBA's here on what I can expect to do going forward. Any tips, suggestions, feedback, would be greatly appreciated! Getting an interview is a long shot but I hope for the best. Thanks folks!
