Database sycronisation

  • Hi,

    looking for thoughts here please.

I have a database 10GB in size that is used for scheduling. It runs on SQL 2008 R2 on a Windows 2008 R2 server. At most there are 20 users who use this. The problem now is some of those users are going up to a mine site where the link is over satellite so latency is rather large. They want to have a copy up on site that is synced with the head office and vice a versa at all times.

    Ideas thoughts ?

    Thanks.

    Hope this helps...

  • I don't think the information you provided is enough to help you, do you want to do db synchronization or you've already setup replication and there is a delay?

  • Nothing has been set up. Im looking for ideas to see if this is possible. Replication the entire database with to ensure the two are in sync I don't think is a great solution. To m any tables etc.

Let me know what other information you think you need.

    Hope this helps...
