Hi there
I wanna give a online backup from my SQL server 2008 and i don't know how to do it !!!
I want design a king of back up which when my main sql server goes down with changing ip address in client apps
they work with out any delay and lost data !
can anyone help me in this case ?
I've done a lot of search on the net and i got 2 solution which is cool for me but none of them are useful because
my SQL DB has file-stream and mirroring doesn't support it !!! 🙁
and as far as i know replication works like this !
1 - publisher
2 - subscriber
which subscriber is read only ? and when my publisher (main SQL server goes done the subscriber won't work 🙁 )is it correct ?
any suggestion ?
