Please help in this.
i have a scenario in AWS Cloud,
The SQL DB Server is with below configuration.
SQL Server 2005 with Service pack 1 and 8 GB RAM with 2.99 GHz Windows 2003 Server 64 Bit with Service pack 2.
we are using sql server 2005 which has Full Text Catalog enabled and trying to search certain keyword matches. This DB is enabled with SQL Replication and this is the DB which is pointing for application, this db is replicated to another server (zone) with Transactional Replication. While searching the keywords with SQL server replication enabled the SP execution is taking 1.5 minutes where as after disabling the replication or removing the replication it took nearly 30 seconds and due to the time consuming of the SP, CPU and PF Usage of the SQL Server was going high and search was not happening. SO kindly help me what needs to be done.
