'sa' password getting reset

    Hi,

    I have sql 2k8 R2 working OK. from last few days my 'sa' password is getting re-set automatically. i know it is not possible but it is happening to me.

    then i have to login with window authn. and reset password almost every day.

    Even i have formatted a server and scanned with anti-virus too. Even though problem is there.

    pls help.

    Create a trace (or look in the default trace) for security events. I can't remember offhand which event it is, Books Online will have details.

    p.s. Why are you using the sa login? That login should be disabled.
