SSRS 2005 - Web Service Identity Account Change

  Hello all,

  Due to time constraints, I recently had to set up SSRS server using a temporary AD account as the service account, whilst I waited on a dedicated account being set up.

  While this was relatively simple to change in most areas, I found that the ASP.NET Service Account (Under the Web Identity tab on the SSRS Configuration Manager) is greyed out and apparently locked to the account I set everything up with in the first place.

  I can't find much help on our old friend google, for getting this changed - one tip suggested going to IIS Manager, right-clicking and bringing up the properties for the individual application pools, browsing to the Identity tab and changing the account here.

  However, I have now done this for the ReportManager and ReportServer app pools, and there is no chance to the account displayed in the SSRS config manager...

  I'm assuming plenty of people on here have had to change the service account for this at some point, any suggestions would be very much appreciated...
