Hi all
We are currently implementing AG and have the setup where we have a primary and a witness in Datacentre A and a secondary in Datacentre B using Synchronous commit and automatic failover.
My question is around what happens if we lose Datacentre A. At that point automatic failover would not be possible due to there being no Quorum, so I assume I would have to bring up the AG manually on the secondary, but how can I be sure that there has been no data loss. Would this be handled by SQL and any transactions yet to be committed at Datacentre B would be rolled back, and would the AG Dashboard reflect this?
