Help:SSRS Jump To Report On IE parameter value not passed correctly

  • hi,

I have a summary report that has a jump-to-report on one cell that points to a detailed report. The detailed report has 4 parameters (date start, date end, name and type) whose values are being passed by the summary report.

It works fine in dev report manager server and the parameters are passed correctly. I didn't even created it as linked reports but just uploaded both reports separately. The data source is windows authentication (use windows credentials).

But when we deployed it to prod, the date start, date end and name are being passed accordingly but the type parameter value is missing (blank) so when that certain cell in summary is clicked, the detailed report can't run because the type value is blank or missing. The data source is now set to "Credentials supplied by the user running the report." so everytime I ran the summary it will prompt a username password and when I clicked on that cell that supposedly points to the detailed report and pass the parameter value, it again prompts a username/password and this is when the type value is blank.

By the way, i don't use url in my jump-to-report action, i used the "Go to Report".

Could the authentication be the culprit? Does anyone here knows a workaround for this? I really appreciate all help anyone can give.

    Thanks!
