We have a named instance used for our SharePoint 2010 databases running on an active-passive cluster. (SQL Server 2008 R2-SP2 and Windows 2008 R2).
Named instance=SPCLST1\SharePT
We have a separate server dedicated to SSRS 2008 (SQL Server 2008 R2-SP2 and Windows 2008 R2). Default instance name=SSRSP1
We'd like to publish reports on SharePoint (SPCLST1\SharePT) that integrate with existing SSRS reports on SSRSP1.
From most of what I've read to appears that you have to install SSRS onto the server that hosts the SharePoint DBs, but because SharePoint is on a cluster, this isn't allowed. (I tried it and it didn't work)
Has anyone had any success getting this to work?
