  • The code is visible in the Script Manager Format link.

This article is missing some article. I was surprised that such would be featured.

I assume we all can write code. What makes SSC articles enjoyable is in the tale that tells us why code/script was needed and the how/why some particular code is an optimal (or spackle) solution.

I also couldn't see the script in the textarea and didn't feel like jumping through hoops to use script manager format. Why a UDF? I'm always wary of UDF-based solutions.

Perhaps more importantly, under what circumstances would someone likely mangle a set of characters so badly that this approach would be required to find the word(s) they might have meant?

  • Well all the code is there but it does not work withoug some debugging and understanding what is going on. Nice piece of work though and interesting.

    Thanks,

    M.

  • Thanks for the script.
