Anyone want to write an article on detecting memory pressure? Looking for advice in checking perfmon counters, DMVs, perhaps disk activity, etc. with guidelines and queries on how to tell if you are experiencing memory pressure.
Don't see many good references out there, but would like one for SSC.
It might need to be a 2005 one and a 2008 one since DMVs changed. If anyone wants to go back to 2000, I'll publish one.

I can't do it because the only memory pressure I have is when someone asks me what I did last week. 😀 I'm just curious if anyone picked this up for you.

I've spoken about this at a few SQL Saturdays and SQL Rally (or at least it's been part of the presentations). This seems like a good topic for me to try my hand at article writing.

I know we spoke a while ago about my blog post on VAS becoming an article, I've followed it up as well so is it worth rewriting it as an article?

you'd have to remind me which VAS post, but I do think that we could use more articles that push this more complex information out to people to help them learn and grow.
