I have a series of SQL 2000 database that I have had to turn on C2 auditing. Is there a way to define the location of the trace files other than using the default database location?
Nope. It audits files to the location where data files where specified to be placed during install. Your best option is to setup a script/job to move off audit files to an alternative location periodically.
