I have an Android phone instead of an iPhone, but it's in the "same difference" category. Tons of uses.

I'd used "smartphones" before, and never had much use for them beyond the phone functions or checking my bank balance online if I could get a connection. Now I use this thing for more than I ever would have thought possible.

And it does amuse me that my phone has more computing power than my first desktop computer.
