If the other site is going to be a success/failure, let it do it on its own merits without trying to gain support by linking it to the main SSC forums.
good point. Its all getting a bit complicated but maybe there should only be a relationship between your ASK and SSC standings if you have a certain number of POSTS (not points) on SSC.
Personally I would be bit miffed if I had to start as a complete newbie at ASK seeing as it is related to SSC, and would struggle with the concept of people scoring my posts, let alone editing them!
