Timestamped log of replication activity

  • Thanks for this video - I will be able to use this information to streamline our approach to disaster recovery.

Towards the end of the video, you go into the Replication Monitor and display the new subscription; it appears that you then double click on the subscription to display a detailed, timestamped log of replication activity. I have looked everywhere I can think of to figure out how to display such a log, with no success; what I get instead is a three-section window showing sessions of the merge agent, articles processed, and last message. This is useful information, but it is not the timestamped log that I want to see. Can you tell me how to display this? Thanks in advance for any assistance! Steve B

P.S. I am working in SQL Server 2008 Standard Edition.
