I have a small clarification on 64 bit sql server 2008 Enterprise edition.

I have 64 bit Windows server 2003 enterprise edition domain machine which has 64 bit sql server 2008 enterprise edition.

computer name - erp

domain name - adc.com

user id - administrator

When i am installing an ERP application database in this machine it shows error as 'erp\administrator is not a valid windows user' but i am logging as 'adc\administrator'.

Can you tell what is the problem and how it can be solved.

Note - This machine is a VMware server
