Our environment is considering using a SQL 2005/2008 x64 single instance server cluster to host both 2005/2008 database initiatives for a production environment. Windows 2003 x64 will be used as the OS for this installation.
Is anyone running this in a production environment anywhere?
Besides the decision to run these SQL versions in separate resource groups, are there any other issues with MDAC? 3.5 .NET binaries, etc.
Any insight from those running a clustered 2005/2008 x64 SQL server environment simultaneously would be appreciated.
