I think is rigth having a convention to easily identify the function of tables in our DB, but I woul likke to see just a descriptive name when I work with the tables.
It would be rigth to use a Schema instead a prefix ?
Using a schema, we have a graphical separation of the tables when you look at the Object Explorer -> Tables tree in SQL Server Management studio, and the references to tables looks like this "REF.Promotions", I think this is more understandable for users trying to get information from the DB.
