Here is the first few pages of the logfile:Its got the line in the end where it says error = 203 -- see if you can spot anything ?

Where? I'm not seeing error 203... maybe I just missed it?
Can you please double-check your summary LOG for any other entries where you see the word "tools" for example? There may be two different entries, one with perhaps more detail than just "Error: 1603".
Please post anything from that summary log dealing with sql tools.
