I'm wondering if loss of capacity is less noticeable in a hybrid (unlike a full electric) because the power level is rarely run all the way constantly automatically restored by the engine when it runs low. Perhaps the user would never know in most conditions that the batteries were only 45% of what they were 2 years ago.
