I am wondering how you professional DBA's feel about virtual servers. I have seen companies implement these "the user will never know the difference" servers and then wonder why their programs are continuously bogged down keep failing. I personally don't buy the idea that finite hardware can go infinite because some software company says it can. Or do the implementers just go too far in piling or stacking it.
