My topic is being flagged as spam

  • Hi,

Im new to the forum and Im trying to create a post but it have been flagged as spam. I have a deadlock problem so I tried to post the sql code, deadlock xml and attached the deadlock graphic, that was the first try, second I removed the jpg it failed again and thrid time i only posted the sql code and still flagged as spam.

What's happening? How can I prevent it to happen?

    Thank you in advance.

It's a part of the anti-spam algorithm they use on this forum.  It makes life real difficult for those with just several posts.  I forget how many posts it discriminates against.  It may actually be the dots in your name that it's having a fit about.  You might try changing them to spaces.

RBAR is pronounced "ree-bar" and is a "Modenism" for Row-By-Agonizing-Row.
First step towards the paradigm shift of writing Set Based code:
________Stop thinking about what you want to do to a ROW... think, instead, of what you want to do to a COLUMN.

Change is inevitable... Change for the better is not.

  • I had the same problem.  I had a nice post about Azure SQL and making events from table inserts, and BAM -- it's SPAM.

  • You folks should hum a rock at the webmaster for this site to do two things...

    1. See if they'll "unspam" your post.
    2. See if they can improve the anti-spam bot to help keep this from happening.
