    In fact, sometimes, even if you can do something in one giant uber-statement, it may not perform as well as two or three smaller chunks of code.

    I've found this to be the case more often than not.

    If you haven't even tried to resolve your issue, please don't expect the hard-working volunteers here to waste their time providing links to answers which you could easily have found yourself.
