  Hi everyone, 
  I would like to get your opinion about two model approaches for Time Series.
  That is a logical data model and the final physical model could differs.
  
  Option 1.
  

  Option 2.
  
  Please omit some attributes specific to our scenario. The discussion is if a time series should be defined as an entity with an Id, a source and the data points in a second entity with the key-value pairs (timestamp -> value) plus unit and some tags, or (option 2) rything in a single entity define by the timestamp, metric and source; the combination of these 3 attributes gets a value with a unit.

  Any comment would be highly appreciated.
