SSRS : Order the appearance on the chart according to the values of one of the fields

  • Dear all,

I am creating a new SSRS report.

    This report as a chart.

Chart dispalys execution time and number of executions.

Problem is that it is not sorted in the right order. I would like values to be displayed according to the the value of the execution time .

So, for each stored procedure it shows the execution time and and also number of executions BUT appears in the chart ordered by execution time order.

How can I achive this ordering?

    Thank you

Ummmm... not sure what you mean.   How is "I would like values to be displayed according to the the value of the execution time ." different from "appears in the chart ordered by execution time order."

  • I  did it. I selected the series and them added a sort based on the value I wanted to see. Thanks

Can you give some sample data as well, it will help to understand the problem better.

Glad you got it sorted.   Hopefully, just the act of posting the question allowed your mind to change gears and thus move closer to the solution.
