Logshipping retention time log-files

  • LS,

Setting up LOGSHIPPING works fine but when I enter "22 days" in the "Delete files older than" sectionbox (within the BackupSettings) I noticed that the LOG-files will be removed after 3 day !!!
Searching for info on this I found out that there is a maximum of 14420 minutes (10 days) on this "Delete files older than" so I changed it to 9 days (12960 minutes) but still the files are removed excately after 3 days !!
What am I missing on this ???

I'd check the regular backups and deletes for the primary. Things such as any other backups going to that same folder or other jobs that could be deleting the backup file after three days. Did you check the job history? The default job name is LSBackup_<LogShippedDBName>
