    You have a variety of ways to move data from on premise SQL instance to Azure.  What benefits does this Migration Utility have over say SSIS solution?

    SSIS is a little hard to learn for newbies.
    This option is easier to learn and execute. I would use SSIS if some data transformations are required.

    There is a step missing here.  Although you note that two batch files are created by the migrate data step, you only say to run the import batch file.  This won't load the data.  The export batch file must be ran first and then the import batch file must be ran.  Once both are ran in this order, the data appears in the Azure DWH.
