Alright.. Lets follow it up with some "substantial" details -

our data contains tables which have cyclic dependency, there are transaction and master tables but its not necessary that master tables doesn't contain transactional data the entire DB is Oracle.

we get data like - 5 Million rows daily on an avg.

Reports are built directly on these tables by applying outer joins, named calculations; there are no aggregate tables present neither it is required in the reports also.

All reporting is operational (NOT ANALYTICAL) so we'd created report models by putting those outer joins and named calc. which in tern being used by biz users for their reporting or rather daily tasks and all

Now that this has been deprecated in 2012 what are the options available (if any)

I hope I get some good information/ advice on my problem.

    TY

    Thanks for the info;-)

First thought, although the Report Model is depreciated (Breaking change), one can still run and develop using BIDS (2K8), at least up to and including 2014, SSDT 2012-14 do not have any RM capabilities. I do not know what would be the best alternative but I'll look into it and keep you advised.
