    Hello.

Actually we have an Enterprise based applications with MS-SQL2000 , we have microsoft Dinamycs (6.5) and several applications (vb.net 2005, 2010 y 2012), .

But now we plan to migrate to new serveR with MS-SQL2008.

oUR provider says that it go to migrate our database Ms-sql2000 in the new server in compatibility mode...

Ms-sql2008 but our database in compatibility 2000....

    It's necesary?.

I think than may be as have a Ferrary in first march!!!!....

    what's your advice?.

    Please help me.

    thanks.

It really sounds like a Ferrari in first march, especially because SQL 2014 has already been released and you might want to start planning a second migration soon.
