    You can use the DelimitedSplit8K function for this.

    declare @SomeString varchar(50) = 'tesco mixed fruit';

    with SplitValues as

    (

    select s.Item

    from dbo.DelimitedSplit8K(@SomeString, ' ') s

    )

    select *

    from SplitValues s1

    cross join SplitValues s2

    where s1.Item <> s2.Item
