When I attempt to open SQL Server Management Studio 2008, I get this error message: "Unable to read the list of previously registered servers on this system. Re-register your servers in the 'Registered Servers' window".

Is it the Domain Server that requires the registration? The database application is performing normally with no error messages. I am able to view tables, etc. via the Mgmt. Studio, but cannot run backup reports.

A quick search on google for the EXACT error message reveals the issue and how to solve it directly microsoft.
