Many thanks for this, is there a procedure if i need to rollback to std from ent editions?
Same again i believe, which would then downgrade and possibly lose features that are in use (for example aynchronous mirroring).

I assume the lic upgrade modifies some of the system dbases ??
Yes, so backups of the system databases would be advisable before hand
