yesterday we have some issues with a web application that cannot connect to a SQL server 2008R2 reporting server. The application hangs when running the report from web application.
But the reporting server ran fine, and I could connect from any other machines like my workstation , using http:\\servername\reports. to run the reports, there was no hanging or connection problem,
Today the web application is working again, we did not do anything. It just fixed itself.
But we would like to find the reason why it has frequent hangs.
Any troubleshooting tips?
also I found in the sql reporting server windows event log, could this be related
Windows cannot access the the object OU=Servers,OU=NOC,OU=SSC,OU=Sites,DC=ourCompanys name,DC=org in Active Directory. The access to the object may be denied. Group Policy processing aborted
