Unable to send excel using Send Mail Task in SSIS

  Hi,

  I have developed a package whose output is in Excel. I need to mail this excel to some users. i have Microsoft Exchange Server at office. I tried using SendMail Task and got the following error:

  [Send Mail Task] Error: An error occurred with the following error message: "Failure sending mail. System.IO.IOException: Unable to read data from the transport connection: An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host. System.Net.Sockets.SocketException: An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host".

  How to correct this??

  Also, i am unable to enable sql server agent in sql server 2008 R2.
