    Looking at the future and other applications of those programming languages, I wouldn't waste my time with VB, but start with C#.

    I don't understand what do you mean by "future and other applications". Can you give me some examples ? Were you suggesting that VB has no future or is a dying language ?

    I'm noticing in my environment that C# is more dominant.

    Some may argue VB is a bit dying, but I think it might stay around for a while.

    I won't be using it though.
