Partition Existing Table with Primary Key Clustered Index

    I have a table called Sales with primary key clustered index on SalesDate and OrderNumber. I would like to partition the table on SalesDate. How do I create/recreate the primary key and clustered of this existing table with partitioning?

    First thing. Why are you partitioning? What's the goal here?
