No, actually I think for the person who asked the question, you hit the nail. For others (like myself) I think the sarcasm level was just sufficient to push me to start the ball rolling on going to one of the PASS Summits, without coming across like a total **shole...;-)
Besides, having seen your posts here, following your blog, I have some idea of your writing style...
