Wow, I'm really bummed. Sure looks like it's 3 more exams after finishing the 2008 MCITP. Below is the upgrade path for the SQL 2008 DBA cert. I'm still going to work hard to pass the 70-450 but it doesn't reduce the total number of exams I have to take. Drinking a skinny mocha to dull the pain...
