Hi I studied networking exactly after graduation i got an Internship from the BI side I took i was desperate I have a son to raise now after a year of my internship i find that i am really enjoying my work but I do consider the fact that i never got school experience just working experience.. How do i go about raising my standards / I mean do i have to go back to school for another 3 years or is there another way to get certified?

In my opinion (and others may differ) it doesn't really matter, my degree is completely unrelated to SQL however and I have been working in the industry happily for years. On the job experience is invaluable.

If you would like to get SQL Server qualifications you could look at taking the Microsoft Certs
