Dear All,
Request you to provide the some clarification on below issue.
We have a backup files with LSN Number like Ex:5,6,7,8
When we are restoring the file after 6th 7 file i am not able to restore. There i am getting error file has been corrupted.
I heard that we can update the LSN number, like 7th file as 6th then we can restore in sequence.Again 8th file as 7th file.
Is it right. If yes how to update the file.
Please provide me the solution if we are in this situation.

You can't update the LSN anywhere. It's the log sequence number, it describes the order of data modifications.
If you're restoring log backups and one is corrupt then you cannot restore past that corrupt file unless you have a full or differential backup after that corrupt file that you can restore.
