SSRS not able to launch - mscorwks.dll could not be loaded

    Hi Team,

    Not sure if this is the exact forum for this Query, but it had something to do with Reporting Services thats why I am here.

    I have recently faced an Issue where in due to a recent patches from Microsoft for .Net the reporting services is not working. Not able to launch Report Manager and Reporting Services Configuration Manager. This server has Windows Server 2003 and .Net Framework 3.5 Installed over it.

    Error message is as below -

    C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727\mscorwks.dll could not be loaded

    Try installing .Net Framework 2.0 the error shows the file missing for v2.0

    Thanks for the response.

    The Server has Framework 3.5 installed however. Just wanted to know reinstalling Framework 2.0 would help ??

    why I suggested this because the file missing error showing that it searching for .net framework 2.0 file and folder.. am Not Sure.. you can give a try and check,
