We are using a huge meta data self service model in sql 2005/2008. Now it´s time to transfer this to sql 2012.
Is there a possibility to transfer or reuse a report model project (smdlproj) within sql 2012?
The new SQL data service tool did not know the project type. We tried to use the old sql 2008 bi dev tool and it works. But if we download this model (uploaded by bi 2008) and reupload it, the server crashed with xml syntax errors.
