Backup created using netbackup, but not able to restor

  • Hi,

    We have scheduled a backup on a database as Weekly full and daily differential using Veritas Netbackup tool. Now the database is overwritten with some other data and we are trying to restore the database using the previous backups using netbackup client for mssql but we see an error as "Error starting process".

    This is not even hitting the master netbackup server where the backups are placed.

    Does anyone faced this issue before?

    As Symantec article says changing the service account password which doesn't contain spaces, it doesn't work in my case as my service account used for running netbackup client service does not have any spaces.

    Please advise.
