Don't ask the same question in multiple forums as it just fragments the conversation. That said, you've had no responses yet. Have you loooked at the error logs on the server? (System, Security & Application). Do they shed any light on why the service stopped? Do you have some type of anti-virus running on the server?

It's pretty hard for us to diagnosis your problem with so little information. Tell us the steps you've taken to investigate your problem.
